SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Oct. 16, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City police are searching for a man thought to be involved in a credit card fraud case.

“On Oct. 2, the pictured individual was involved in a credit card fraud at 1335 W. 2100 South,” said a news release from the Salt Lake City Police Department. “When confronted by employees he entered a truck and fled the scene, striking a forklift which had been parked in an attempt to stop him from leaving.”

The business at that address is Quality Tire Company.

Detectives have determined the truck the suspect fled in was purchased via fraud as well, the news release said.

In surveillance photographs, the man appears to be Caucasian, with blond hair. In one photograph he is wearing a black shirt and in the second, he’s wearing sunglasses and a pale blue shirt.

Anyone who recognizes the man is asked to call the SLCPD on 801-799-3000 and reference case 19-187123.
