Salt Lake City police seek help identifying suspect

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, July 29, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City Police officials are asking for the public’s help in identifying a man caught on surveillance video during a robbery.

The robbery took place on July 19 when a man entered the Burger King at 575 E. 400 South. He approached the counter and demanded money, and workers complied. The man left on foot, heading toward the UTA Trax platform.

The suspect is a light-skinned male, about 6-feet tall. He has a thin build, and appears to be in his 30s.

The SLCPD asks anyone who may know the identity of the man pictured to call 801-799-3000.

Anonymous tips can be sent by text to 274637. Officers ask people to start their texts with TIPSLCPD, which routes it to the police department, then to include relevant information. The case number is 16-130223.
