VIDEO: Semi Rollover Causes Closure of Ramps

WEST VALLEY CITY, UTAH – July 7, 2015 (Gephardt Daily)- A semi-truck rolled over on SR-201 today causing closures of ramps and huge delays as crews cleaned up.

Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Todd Royce said that a semi-truck took the curve at R-201 and 2000 West too fast causing the weight of the truck to shift and then rolling the semi over to its side.

“We had to close the SR-201 westbound so we diverted traffic onto I-215,” said Royce. “The driver was not injured but there was a lot of compressed cardboard to clean up and that took some time.”
