“Shark Tank” in Salt Lake City for Auditions

SALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – April 16, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – The “Shark Tank” team is in Utah holding auditions. Yesterday, the team was on campus for exclusive interviews for University of Utah students, faculty and alumni.

People were given the opportunity to do a one-minute pitch of their business or product idea to a member of the Casting Team.

Director of the Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute at the U. of U. Kathy Hajeb said: “Today we’re hosting ‘Shark Tank’ auditions for all of our student innovators and entrepreneurs on campus. It’s a great opportunity for them to shark tankbring their own ideas to come and pitch and take it to the next level.”

Callbacks will be in two to three weeks.

10 a.m. – Interviews Begin

“Shark Tank” is an reality television series that premiered August 9, 2009 on ABC. Based on the worldwide television series format “Dragons’ Den” that originally aired in Japan, “Shark Tank” has aspiring entrepreneur-contestants make business presentations to a panel of “shark” investors.
