SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, May 13, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City firefighters rescued seven ducklings from a storm drain in Rose Park last week.
“Ladies and gentlemen, 2019’s first duck rescue post goes to… Medic Engine 7 from Rose Park in Salt Lake City,” said a Facebook post from SLC Fire May 7.
“These courageous firefighters braved the residual storm drain waters in order to gently remove and return these cuddly little ducklings to their somewhat patient momma.”
“No firefighters were injured in the process of rescuing the ducklings,” the post said.
