KAMLOOPS, British Columbia, Sept. 16, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Two missionaries for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, serving in the Canada Vancouver Mission, were critically injured when their vehicle collided with a truck in Kamloops on Friday.

The missionaries, both 19 years old, are Elder Bryant Keck, from Sanford, Colorado, and Elder Dallin Thompson, from Sahuarita, Arizona.

In a news release Sunday night, Daniel Woodruff, media relations manager for the LDS Church, said the two young men are in critical condition with injuries that may be life-threatening.

“The condition of the occupants of the truck is unknown,” Woodruff said, “and we pray for their well-being.

“We also pray for both missionaries and their families, and we ask for the faith and prayers of others on their behalf as they navigate the difficult days ahead.”
