SAN FRANCISCO, June 17 (UPI) — Uber is offering free rides this weekend for people traveling to and from select venues that are important to the LGBT community.

Starting from Friday at noon and lasting through Monday evening, there is a limit of two rides per person of up to $20 each in 40 cities in the U.S. and Canada where the car service operates.

Venues include various lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community centers, bar, nightclubs and stores.

Uber told CNNMoney there are roughly five to 10 locations in each city, including San Francisco’s Harvey Milk Plaza and New York City’s Stonewall Inn. Uber has created individual pages for each of the 40 cities to notify people of the destinations.

The discounts are being rolled out in the wake of the mass shooting Sunday at gay nightclub Pulse, in Orlando, Fla., that left 49 dead and dozens injured.

Uber has already been giving unlimited free rides in Orlando to the families of victims and survivors of the shooting.
