MURRAY, Utah, Dec. 15, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Viewmont Elementary School in Murray is closed Thursday after a water main break, the district said in a prepared statement.
Crews worked through the night on the break that happened in front of the school at 745 W. 5720 South, according to a post on the Murray School District Facebook page.
As well as school being closed, an ice skating event scheduled for sixth graders on Thursday has been postponed.
“We will update parents and the school community when a school makeup day is scheduled,” the Facebook post said. “Thank you for your support and we are sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.”
