PARK CITY, UTAH – September 29, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – The crowds were lining up for waffles in Park City Tuesday and to help pay for the mounting medical expenses of a local skier critically injured in an accident in Australia earlier this month.

Sixteen-year-old Sam Jackenthal of Park City was training in Australia on September 8 when he was involved in a terrible accident. Now, his mother, father, and sister are by his side at a hospital half a world away where Sam is fighting for his life.

Tuesday, Waffle Love served up their famous dishes at the Winter Sports School with a portion of all profits going towards Jackenthal’s medical expenses. Waffle Love owners say the Jackenthals are asking that Utahns send their “light and love” to Sam as he battles to recover from his injuries.

There is also a Go Fund Me account set up in Sam Jackenthal’s name along with a Zion’s Bank fund in his name.
