SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, April 3, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A water main break has partially closed southbound Redwood Road in Salt Lake City Wednesday morning.

SLC Public Utilities tweeted at 8 a.m. the break is at 758 S. Redwood Road and the street has been restricted to one lane.

The tweet said that approximately 20 locations are without water and emergency crews are on site.

“Cause unknown, but line was installed in 1948, so likely age-related,” a follow-up tweet said.

It’s likely repairs will take four to six hours, officials said.

Gephardt Daily will have more on this developing story as information is made available.
