Update: West Jordan police announce safe return of 23-year-old autistic man

 WEST JORDAN, Utah, July 21, 2023 (Gephardt Daily) — A 23-year-old man with autism who went missing Thursday has returned home safely, police said.
 
Jarrett Lyon, who is autistic and non-verbal, left a group home near 8500 South and 1500 West on Thursday afternoon, West Jordan police stated on social media.
 
Police announced his safe return about 11 a.m. Friday.
 
“We appreciate the community and our fellow law enforcement for the care and support in locating Jarrett,” WJPD tweeted.
