West Valley Police asking for information after body found in road

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, April 17, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — West Valley Police Department is searching for information after the body of a 20-year-old man was found  deceased in a road Tuesday evening.

A tweet from WVCPD said a passerby discovered the body of Hairon Freyre-Portuondo at approximately 9 p.m. in the road at 1855 W. 3188 South, which is a residential area just southwest of Redwood Park and Redwood Recreation Center.

“Freyre-Portuondo had fatal injuries and may have been hit by a car,” the tweet said. “At this time, it’s not clear how he died.”
