Woman confronts suspect after robbery at Salt Lake 7-Eleven

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 13, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — A woman confronted a suspect who allegedly stole items from her at a Salt Lake City 7-Eleven in the early hours of Wednesday morning.

A news release from the Salt Lake City Police Department said the incident took place at 12:52 a.m. in the area of 819 W. North Temple.

“Officers responded to an assault at the above address,” the news release said. “Further investigation determined that the fight was a continuation from a robbery that took place at a nearby 7-Eleven.”

A woman demanded money then attacked the victim, the news release said. The victim left and realized she was missing property. She believed the suspect took it during the altercation. 

The victim located the suspect and confronted her. Shilonna Jackson, 28, was arrested and booked into jail, the news release said.
