MURRAY, Utah, Jan. 9, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — A woman was transported to an area hospital after being hit by a car while crossing the road in Murray Wednesday morning.
Murray Police Department spokesman Officer Kenny Bass told Gephardt Daily a driver was making a left turn at State Street and 5900 South at approximately 6:10 a.m. when the incident occurred.
The woman, who was wearing dark clothing, was in a crosswalk, Bass said.
She was transported to an area hospital with non life-threatening injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and at this time does not appear that speed or impairment was a factor in the incident.
