WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, March 7, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Two people were hospitalized after a stabbing incident in West Valley City overnight.
At about 11 p.m. Friday, West Valley City police were dispatched to the area near of 3000 W. 3875 South on a report of a stabbing, Lt. Tyler Longman, WVCPD, told Gephardt Daily.
“Responding officers found an adult female victim stab wounds,” Longman said. “She was transferred to hospital for treatment.
“Shortly thereafter, her domestic partner was located, and adult male, was found at another location in Kearns. He was transported to the hospital with stab wounds as well.”
The woman is expected to survive, Longman said, adding he did not have an update on the man, who was transported from the first hospital, then flown to a second hospital, suggesting his condition may have “degraded at some point.”
Longman said he had no information on who inflicted the stab wounds, and that was part of the investigation.
