HERRIMAN, Utah, Jan. 19, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — A woman was seriously injured after being struck by a car Sunday night in Herriman about 8 p.m.
According to a press release from the Herriman Police Department, the crash occurred near 14530 S. Sentinel Ridge Boulevard and Rosecrest Road.
The pedestrian was crossing the roadway in a marked crosswalk when she was hit by the car.
The driver, also an adult female, was turning left from Rosecrest onto Sentinel Ridge Boulevard on a green traffic signal at the time of the collision, police said.
The pedestrian was transported to Intermountain Medical Center with serious injuries.
The driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators.
The Herriman crash was the second auto-pedestrian crash in the Salt Lake Valley Sunday night.
Earlier in the evening a pedestrian was fatally injured after being hit by a pickup on 3900 South near 1200 East.
