Herriman police ID people found dead after apparent murder-suicide

HERRIMAN, Utah, April 20, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — Herriman City police have identified the man and woman who were found dead last week after what investigators said was a murder-suicide.

Police responded to a call for a welfare check at 7:15 p.m. Friday. The address was near 4500 W. Watchmen Way (14000 South).

The woman was found deceased from apparent blunt force trauma. The man was dead from a self-inflicted cause, HCPD officers said.

The two have been identified as Lindha P. Zerpa Lara, 43, from Herriman, and Manuel R. Ramirez Perez, 56, of South Salt Lake.

The HCPD statement said the investigation remains active, and no further information is being released at this time.
