Update: Rocky Mountain Power restores electricity to 3,100 without power in West Valley City

UPDATE: As of 1:57 p.m. Rocky Mountain Power has restored electricity to all but five homes in West Valley City.

WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Sept. 24, 2020 (Gephardt Daily) – An estimated 3,100 homes and business in West Valley City are without electricity Thursday.

According to Rocky Mountain Power, the outage happened around 5:40 a.m. and knocked out electricity to thousands of customers in the 84120 zip code.

RMP said on its website that it was “assessing” the situation.

There was no estimate given when power might be restored.
