Entire Town Learns Sign Language for One of Their Own

Turkey – April 6, 2015 – (Gepahrdt Daily) – On Dec. 28, 2014, Muharrem, and his sister Ozlem took a walk through his town. What seemed like an ordinary day quickly turned into something wonderful. He was greeted by various residents in sign language, random people he didn’t even know.
A shocked Muharrem was surprised at first but then elated as he continued to have run-ins with people who were speaking to him in a language he felt only he could understand.
By the time the clip was over he had been introduced to all the “strangers” he bumped into during the day. He was greeted by a Samsung representative on a video screen, who explained the project to him in sign language.
Since it was posted on March 3, the clip has brought in more than 3.5 million views.
