FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla., Aug. 21 (UPI) — A self-described “escort” arrested on a disorderly intoxication charge in Florida flashed her breasts to a judge to back up her claims of police brutality.
Susan Marie Surrette, 54, who appeared via video feed in Judge John Hurley’s Broward courtroom Thursday on a disorderly intoxication charge, told the judge she works as a hairdresser, but she has another job under another name.
“Kayla Kupcakes. I’m an escort, too,” Surrette said.
Surrette complained about her treatment at the hands of police.
“I’ve been beaten up by police. And also this too,” Surrette said, lifting her shirt to expose her breasts.
“Oh, my Lord,” Hurley said.
The suspect’s attorney told the judge Surrette suffers from a medical condition.
“She’s somebody that needs help,” the attorney said. “She’s not going to get the help that she needs at the jail.”
Hurley set Surrette’s bail at $100 and ordered her to undergo a medical examination.
