LILLOOET, British Columbia, Dec. 4 (UPI) — A Canadian man turned his 101-year-old mother into a viral star with a video showing her joy at creating her first snowball of the season..Armand Foisy of Lillooet, British Columbia, posted a video to YouTube showing his 101-year-old mother, Albina Foisy, making a snowball at the side of a road.“Oh my, oh my, look at this,” the centenarian says in the video. “It’s kind of fun to play in the snow.” The woman packs a snowball and throws it into the nearby woods.“When you have a mother that’s 101-years-old, it’s a good idea to keep the camera nearby for those special moments,” Foisy says in the video.Foisy said his mother lived on her own until she was 100, when she moved in with him.
“When you’re 101 the wheels start to fall off, but not mentally,” he told Global News. “That’s the amazing thing about her. Her strength and her joy of living is not diminished one iota. She laughs at everything, she’s so giving.”
Foisy posted a second video to YouTube showing his mother’s excitement at seeing herself on the local news.
