PROVO, Utah, Oct. 2, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Kids will be kids. Especially if they’re juvenile goats enjoying a rare night on the town in central Provo.

“Last night just after 10 p.m., Officer Brian Wortman detained two juvenile goats found fighting in the roadway at 400 E. Center St.,” says a Facebook post from the Provo Police Department.

“Three citizens saw the goats and made a ‘citizen/goat arrest,’ and held them until Officer Wortman arrived. Lacking a department-approved goat restraint system, he placed leg restraints around their necks — quick thinking by Wortman.”

That didn’t stop farmyard physicality.

“The pair immediately began butting heads again and continued doing so until Animal Control Officer Wilson arrived and told them to knock it off,” the post says. “Note: No goats were harmed in the making of this cheesy FB post.”
