Woman in Wheelchair Wins Treadmill on ‘Price is Right’

LOS ANGELES, May 5 (UPI) — A Los Angeles woman had the chance of a lifetime to appear on The Price is Right, but what she won on the game show gave her a few laughs.

Danielle Perez, of Los Angeles, made it up onto the stage with Drew Carey on Tuesday’s episode of the show and played a game in which she had to guess which item — a three-person sauna or a treadmill — cost $3,695.

She correctly chose the sauna and won both items in the contest.

The only problem is, Perez is in a wheelchair after losing her legs in an accident in 2004.

Her win quickly drew a lot of social media attention and Perez, a comedian, took to Twitter to joke about the situation.

She posted an image of herself giving the Price is Right cameras a stunned look after the win with the caption, “when you win a treadmill on national TV, but you have no feet.”

“I’m in a wheelchair & won a treadmill on @PriceIsRight and have no feet & my blow out was on point. Life got,” she later tweeted.
