Police Identify Man Killed In 3-vehicle Collision In Ogden

OGDEN, Utah, June 2, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Police have identified the man killed in an accident Thursday afternoon in Ogden.

Ogden resident Jay J. Jex, 29, died in the three-vehicle collision, which happened at 3:14 p.m. on Harrison Boulevard between 35th and 36th streets.

Jex was driving a 2008 Toyota Prius when the driver of a Ford Mustang lost control. The Mustang crashed, nearly head on, into the Prius.

The Prius spun into a pickup truck that was pulling a trailer.

Ogden police officials say the Mustang was traveling at 60 to 80 miles per hour and a 40 mph road. The driver of the Mustang suffered minor injuries.
