TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, Aug. 18, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — The Unified Police Department has released surveillance images of a man wanted in connection with the Aug. 15 robbery of a Wells Fargo Bank branch in Taylorsville.
The robbery took place at 12:24 p.m. at the Wells Fargo at 3981 W. 4700 South. According to information from the Unified Police Department, a man entered the bank and produced a note saying he had a gun and demanding cash.
The man was given an undisclosed amount of money, and was last seen fleeing from the bank on foot to the south. No one was injured during the robbery and no weapon was seen.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic man in his mid 20s, about 5-feet-4-inches tall, with a thin build. He was wearing a gray long-sleeved shirt, black pants and shoes, and tan fedora style hat.
The suspect is believed to have been involved in other bank robberies around the Salt Lake Valley in the recent past.
