WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah, Nov. 22, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — Police have issued an endangered missing advisory and an attempt-to-locate (ATL) kidnapping alert for a 6-year-old girl who investigators say was taken Friday night.

The child was last seen about 9:48 p.m. near 3274 W. 3540 S. Authorities say she was taken on foot.

The girl was last seen wearing a pink T-shirt, red pants, and has long black hair pulled back in a hair tie, according to the advisory.

Police are looking for Ayak Ngor, described by West Valley City PD as the child’s 34-year-old cousin.

“This female does not have permission to have custody of the girl,” according to Officer Longman with WVCPD, who told Gephardt Daily police have exhausted all leads and efforts to find the girl would begin again in the morning.

Investigators are asking anyone who sees the child or the suspect, or who has information about their whereabouts, to call the Valley Emergency Communications Center at 801-840-4000. The reference case number is WV25-94130.

This is a developing story.
