The U.S. unit of Nestlé has announced that they have decided to remove all artificial ingredients from more than 250 chocolates and 10 brands by the end of 2015. Nestlé will be the first major U.S. candy manufacturer to make the switch.

Natural ingredients will replace all flavors and ingredients. The change in ingredients was caused after the Nielsen’s 2014 Global Health and Wellness Survey showed that 60% of Americans would prefer not to have artificial ingredients in products.

The new ingredients are more expensive but that will not effect the cost for customers. Rumors say that consumers will not be able to tell a difference between the new and the old ingredients.

The first products to hit the shelves with a stamp that says “no artificial flavors or colors” will be Baby Ruth, Crunch and Butterfinger bars. That transition will happen in mid-2015.
