March 2 (UPI) — Casey Wilson has been cast in NBC’s upcoming comedy pilot “The Sackett Sisters” from executive producer Tina Fey.
Wilson is set to star as the series co-lead alongside Busy Philipps, Deadline reports.
A single-camera comedy, the show will follow estranged sisters (Wilson and Philipps) who are forced to stick together after they perform a public act of heroism. Bradley Whitford has been cast as their father.
Fey developed the pilot with “30 Rock” and “Brooklyn Nine-Nine” writer Luke Del Tredici who also serves as an executive producer alongside Robert Carlock and David Miner.
Known for her role on ABC’s “Happy Endings,” Wilson is returning to NBC for “The Sackett Sisters” after starring in “Marry Me” for the network which ran for one season.
