Charlize Theron Stars in Final ‘Mad Max: Fury Road’ Trailer

LOS ANGELES, April 29 (UPI) — Charlize Theron stars in a final Mad Max: Fury Roadtrailer.
The 39-year-old actress portrays Furiosa, a fugitive imperator on the run from warlord Immortan Joe (Hugh Keays-Byrne). The preview sees the character help Mad Max (Tom Hardy) prepare for battle in a dystopic Australian wasteland.
Mad Max: Fury Road opens in theaters May 15, and co-stars Nicholas Hoult, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley and Riley Keough. The movie is directed by George Miller, who helmedMel Gibson in the first three Mad Max films.
Hardy recently told Details magazine he bored Gibson when he met with the actor to discuss the role. Theron is also scheduled for an adaptation of Gillian Flynn (Gone Girl) novel Dark Places with Hoult and Snow White prequel The Huntsman with Chris Hemsworth.3
