NEW YORK, May 1 (UPI) — The age of robotic vandalism was born in the early hours of Wednesday morning, when adrone defaced Kendall Jenner‘s Calvin Klein billboard in New York City.

KATSU, a well-known graffiti artist, took credit for scribbling red paint across the model’s face using a Phantom drone.

The vandal told Wired that he was pleased with the results.

“It turned out surprisingly well, It’s exciting to see its first potential use as a device for vandalism,” he said.

Unlike traditional tagging, the drone took only 30 seconds to mark up the six story ad that is displayed on the intersection of Houston St. and Lafayette St.

This stunt came after the artist already made headlines last year when he used a hacked fire extinguisher to vandalize L.A. MOCA.

Before KATSU made his mark, the model posted a photo of the billboard on her Instagram last week. She told Entertainment Tonight: “I just drove past the billboard last night, it’s really surreal, because it’s always been my dream to be on something that big.”
