LOS ANGELES, Dec. 23 (UPI) — Lucy Hale has taken to social media to speak out against recently leaked photos that feature the actress topless.

“Once again, a woman in the public eye was violated, stolen from and her private life and body were exposed for anyone to see,” the “Pretty Little Liars” star wrote on Twitter Thursday.

“I will not apologize for living my life and having a personal life that is all mine. It’s truly unfortunate that being exposed in this way is allowed,” she continued.

Hale then went on to thank her fans who have continued to support her in wake of the photos leaking.

“Thank you for all the sweet, supportive messages I’ve been receiving. It was a much needed reminder that I’m surrounded by so much love. I appreciate you all very much. And to whoever did this…kiss my [expletive.]

According to TMZ, Hale is taking legal action against website Celeb Jihad for posting the images. Her attorney Marty Singer is said to have sent a letter to the site demanding that the images be removed.
