WEBER COUNTY, Utah, July 27, 2026 (Gephardt Daily) — The Adams Fire, discovered Monday near Washington Terrace, now stands at an estimated 45 acres and 10% contained.
Most previously evacuated residents have been allowed to return, say news releases from the Weber County Sheriff’s Office and Utah Fire Info.
“We ask that you avoid the area and abide to all road closures,” the Sheriff’s statement says.
“Reminder that it is illegal to operate a drone near a wild fire as this will ground helicopters actively fighting the fire.”
The Utah Fire Info update says evacuation orders are still in effect in the area south of 5700 South (Combe Way).

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. Gephardt Daily will have more information as it is avaialble.
