AMERICAN FORK, Utah, April 8, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — American Fork police are asking for the public’s help locating a suspect after a motorcycle theft.

“Happy Monday morning everyone…(if that’s even possible…!),” the American Fork Police posted on Facebook. “Anyway, over the weekend, this dude decided to break into Duff Shelley Mower & Cycle in AF and steal a 2018 Kawasaki Ninja.”

In surveillance photos outside the store, at  260 E. Main St., the suspect appears to be wearing a white baseball cap, then on surveillance photographs inside the store, he has put a black balaclava on top. He’s also wearing black leather jacket, a light red T-shirt, blue jeans, and distinctive blue sneakers with white soles.

“Even though it wasn’t a Harley Davidson or a Yamaha, it was still worth something… and burglary is still totally, like, 100% illegal,” the Facebook post said.

Anyone who recognizes the man or has more information about the incident is asked to contact the American Fork Police Department at 801-763-3020 or Utah Valley Dispatch at 801-794-3970.
