BREAKING NEWS: Three Bodies Found In Salt Lake City Home

SALT LAKE CITY – September 18, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) – Salt Lake City police say three bodies have been found inside a home on the city’s northwest side.

According to Salt Lake City Police Detective Dennis McGowan, officers were dispatched to a home at 639 North Sir Philips Drive around 5:30 p.m. after receiving reports that an eight- year-old child who lived at the residence had not been picked up from classes at Escalante Elementary School.

Officers performing a welfare check entered the rear of the home and found three dead bodies on the main floor of the house.

One person was found alive and uninjured in the home when police arrived. He’s been taken away for questioning.

Police have not yet released the victims’ identities or the causes of death. They say there is no immediate threat to the public.

The eight-year-old child was unharmed and is staying with relatives.
