OGDEN, Utah, Aug. 15, 2016 (Gephardt Daily) — Ogden firefighters are battling an early morning grass fire near 16th Street and Harrison Boulevard.
The first crews were called to the scene around 4:08 a.m. with reports of power poles on fire.
Firefighters were able to knock down the flames on two utility poles, but not before they spread to an adjacent field.
As 9 a.m. the fire was still not fully contained.
Drivers were being advised to avoid the immediate area.
