LINDON, Utah, June 22, 2025 (Gephardt Daily) — Rescue crews are searching Utah Lake for a 23-year-old man who went missing Sunday near the Lindon Marina.
According to the Utah County Sheriff’s Office, the man was last seen riding a wave runner with his cousin when he went under the water and did not resurface. The incident occurred at approximately 5:30 p.m.
Rescuers from Utah County Search and Rescue and Utah State Parks are leading the search effort, with assistance from LifeFlight and the Utah Department of Public Safety, the UCSO news release says.
The Utah County Sheriff’s Office is urging the public to wear life vests at all times while on Utah County’s lakes and reservoirs.
