MAGNA, Utah, April 27, 2024 (Gephardt Daily) — Roadway flooding closed part of state Route 201 in the Magna area on Saturday.
Eastbound traffic was restricted between mileposts 0 and 6, according to a UDOT graphic.
Drivers were told to expect traffic delays and to use alternate routes if possible. The advisory was expected to be lifted by early to mid-afternoon Saturday.
The flooding followed heavy rainfall between Friday night and Saturday morning.
Most of the road flooding on SR-201 was between the Interstate 80 junction and milepost 6, at 9100 West, according to a statement by the National Weather Service Salt Lake City office.
