According to Unified Police Department PIO Lt. Justin Hoyal, the lone robber walked into the Chevron station at 310 East 3900 South around 10 p.m. Monday night and ordered customers from the store at gunpoint. He then turned his attention to clerk and demanded money. Lt. Hoyal said the clerk complied and the suspect ran from the store heading north.

Police believe the same man robbed a convenience store in Taylorsville Sunday night and is a likely suspect in at least two other local convenience store robberies over the last few days. Investigators say the robberies are violent in nature and they are eager to catch the suspect before someone gets hurt.

The suspect is described as a Hispanic male, in his late teens. He was last seen wearing black shorts, black shirt, black bandana and was carrying a black handgun.

Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call Unified Police at 801 743 7000.
