PARK CITY, Utah, Jan. 28, 2018 (Gephardt Daily)  — Authorities are searching for a man suspected of robbing a Kimball Junction Subway restaurant at knife-point Sunday.

A man entered the Subway at 1612 W. Ute Blvd. at Kimball Junction shortly before 2:15  p.m., according to a tweet from Summit County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff Justin Martinez.

The masked man brandished a knife and attempted to rob the Subway, Martinez said. It’s not clear at this time whether the man got away with any money.

Nobody was injured in the course of the incident, Martinez added.

The suspect is described as being in his late 20s to early 30s and wearing a hooded sweatshirt. He was last seen fleeing the area in a silver passenger vehicle, though it’s not known in which direction.

Officials are attempting to obtain surveillance images of the man and will release those imminently.

Anyone with information about the suspect or the incident is asked to call Summit County Sheriff’s at 435-615-3600.
