MOAB, Utah, Sept. 29, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials are searching for the person or people who vandalized a pride flag at a Moab recreation center.

The vandalism occurred at the Moab Arts and Recreation Center at 111 E. 100 North on Friday morning.

“This morning when we arrived at the MARC, we quickly realized that someone had vandalized our pride flag,” said a post from recreation center officials Friday. “It was completely cut off of the spine of the flag, and was clearly a vindictive and hateful act. We would appreciate any information leading to the apprehension of this individual.”

Anyone who has any information about the incident is asked to call the MARC at 435-259-6272.
