SOUTH SALT LAKE, UTAH – November 14, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) — A man is in extremely critical condition after being struck by a car Friday night in an auto-pedestrian accident on State Street.
According to a South Salt Lake City police spokesperson, the man was crossing the street outside of a crosswalk near 3450 South when he was hit by a passing car at about 9:30 p.m.
He was rushed to Intermountain Medical Center with life-threatening injuries.
Investigators have yet to release the victim’s identity.
The cause of the accident is still under investigation.
