Nine-Year-Old Tremonton Boy Killed in ATV Accident
TREMONTON, UTAH – July 10, 2015 (Gepahrdt Daily) – A nine-year-old Tremonton boy died after the ATV he was driving went off an embankment Thursday afternoon.
According to Box Elder County Sheriff’s Office, the boy was driving an ATV on private property in the area of 5900 W. and 10400 North in Tremonton along with his 16-year-old cousin when the two of them went off a steep embankment.
The boy suffered fatal injuries and died at the scene. His cousin, who is from Texas, sustained minor injuries.
Neither rider was wearing a helmet.
The accident is still under investigation and the identities of the youngsters involved have not been released pending full family notification.
