Police searching for 2 suspects after armed robbery in Salt Lake City parking garage

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Feb. 27, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials are searching for two suspects after an armed robbery in a Salt Lake City parking garage Tuesday evening.

The incident occurred in a parking garage in the area of 640 W. North Temple St. at 10:20 p.m, the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

“A man was parked in the parking garage when he was approached by two suspects who threatened him with a weapon and demanded he exit the vehicle,” the news release said.

“The victim complied and the suspects took property from inside the car and off his person. The suspects fled on foot.”

The first  suspect is described as black, in his late 20s, 5 feet 7 inches tall, of slim build, with a long beard, wearing a black jacket and blue jeans and armed with a weapon.

The second suspect is described as black, in his late 20s, 5 feet 8 inches tall, of slim build, with a long beard, wearing a Levi jacket, black pants and a hat with a “G” on it.
