OGDEN, UTAH – April 2, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) Gov. Gary Herbert and Sen. Orrin Hatch were among the delegation to welcome President Barack Obama to Utah on Thursday night at Hill Air Force Base.

Hill Air Force Base has increased security and was expecting the President around 5:30 p.m., though his arrival time was later changed to around 8:30 p.m.

In the morning, the President will hold a roundtable on clean energy and discuss the importance of clean energy jobs at Hill Air Force Base.  Afterward, the President will depart Salt Lake City, Utah en route Washingtohafbn, DC. In the evening, the President and the First Lady will mark the beginning of Passover with a Seder at the White House with friends and staff.

Hill Air Force Base is one of Utah’s largest employers.

The Utah Department of Transportation asked drivers to be looking out for the motorcade and to pull over for it.
