Salt Lake City police searching for man, woman after apartment robbery

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, March 25, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Salt Lake City police are searching for a man and woman who allegedly robbed a victim inside an apartment Sunday night.

The incident occurred in an apartment in the area of 160 S. 300 East just before 11 p.m., the Salt Lake City Police Department said in a news release.

“The victim was visiting a friend when the friend left to go to a store, and the victim remained at the apartment along with two individuals who had been staying there,” the news release said. “Shortly after the friend left, the suspect mentioned something to the other individual who then pulled out weapon and struck the victim in the back of the head and shoulder which caused minor injuries.”

The suspects attempted to steal the victim’s computer, but were unsuccessful, the news release said.

Both suspects fled the scene. They are described as being in their 20s. Both had dreadlocks with gold tips, officials said.
