SANTAQUIN, Utah, Aug. 22, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — The Santaquin Fire Department is warning residents of a phone scam Thursday.
“Santaquin Fire Department DOES NOT solicit donations or do any fundraising through other companies,” said a Facebook post from officials. “If you are contacted by anyone for donations or fundraising purposes who say they are working with Santaquin Fire Department, please do not fall for it.”
The post said the fire department does not “partner with companies for this purpose or authorize these efforts.”
