Armed and Dangerous Weapons Theft Suspects Arrested in Morgan County

Lyman-Muzzy, Daniel J. SO# 386518 mugSALT LAKE CITY, UTAH – July 10, 2015 (Gephardt Daily) —  Two fugitives wanted for weapons theft that were considered armed and dangerous were captured in Morgan County on Saturday.

Morgan County Sheriff’s Office said deputies and an officer with Utah State Parks were given information that Daniel Lyman-Muzzy, 31, and Regina Collins, 35, had been spotted camping at the East Canyon State park.

The sheriff’s office said in a press release: “We spotted the vehicle with both individuals inside and due to the quick response and actions of the officers involved, the two were taken into custody. The vehicle they were in, contained numerous amounts of illegal drugs and stolen firearms. Both individuals were turned over to the Salt Lake City Police Dept.”

Collins, Regina F. SO# 386520 mugOn Thursday, June 25, police say the pair entered a downtown pawn shop in Salt Lake City. While Collins distracted an employee, Lyman-Muzzy stole two semi-automatic handguns from a display case. The suspects are also wanted by the U.S. Marshall’s Service for robberies and burglaries in several other states.
