2 men charged with stabbing boy at park

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, Nov. 2, 2018 (Gephardt Daily) — Two men have been charged in connection with the stabbing of a teenager in a Salt Lake City park.

Quincey Jeyquaya Yellow, 23, and Tarinitino Jacoby Yellow, 20, have both been charged with aggravated assault resulting in serious bodily injury, a second-degree felony.

In addition, Quincey Yellow was charged with unlawful possession/purchase/transfer of a dangerous weapon by a restricted person. He is restricted because of previous felony convictions.

The men are charged in an Oct. 23 case. The probable cause statements say they were swinging knives at a 17-year-old boy who was skating at Jordan Park, at 900 W. Dalton Ave., near Salt Lake City’s International Peace Gardens.

According to a police report, the victim’s injuries including a punctured lung.

According to probable cause information filed in a previous case, officials believe Quincey Yellow has gang affiliations.
