TAYLORSVILLE, Utah, Aug. 21, 2019 (Gephardt Daily) — Unified Fire crews knocked down a Taylorsville field fire that spread to a shipping container Wednesday afternoon.
A tweet from Unified Fire Authority at 3 p.m. said the field fire was “accidentally started by utility crews working on infrastructure, who quickly made efforts to extinguish it.”
The fire spread to a shipping container used for storage, the tweet said.
West Valley Fire Department and Unified Police Department helped to manage the incident, officials said.
No injuries were reported and there was a minimal loss of property.
