KANE COUNTY, Utah, Oct. 19, 2020 (Gephardt Daily) — Officials have identified a woman who died in a UTV crash on SR-14 in Kane County Friday.

The deceased UTV passenger is Diana Carrillo De Santiago, 27, of Las Vegas, said a news release from Utah Highway Patrol.

“At 3 a.m., a Polaris UTV with four occupants was heading east on SR-14 in the mile post 30 area,” the news release said. “The driver entered a curve in the roadway too fast and overcorrected. The UTV left the roadway to the right and rolled.”

Carrillo De Santiago, who was sitting in the back seat on the driver’s side, was ejected and died.

The three other occupants remained in the UTV and received minor injuries.

  1. It saddens my heart to hear about the senseless deaths of these young, beautiful woman, who still had so much left to add to this world.
While so many struggle with this crazy covad-19 virus that has become a difficult predator to see, predict, and protect ourselves against, because it’s not of a human nature. Unlike what ultimately killed these women.
I hope, as we drive, we can keep a prayer in our hearts for their grief stricken loved ones, they leave behind, and take a minute to buckle up, slow down, way down, and maybe pay closer attention to the laws that govern on & off road safety in their honor over the next few weeks. Be a little more on gaurd for those intoxicated driver’s if it possible?

To make a sincere attempt to actually think about what we all loose when a tragic, accident takes a life. Someone (each of our lives are invaluable and would be missed), who was important to another and who made a difference. So we can, in some small way, even though we may be strangers, help the essence of their importance linger just a little longer.
